Behaviour Consultants


Danielle Ramos, M.Ed., BCBA, IBA

Danielle Ramos is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), RASP Category A, and Founder and Clinical Director of RISE Behaviour Services (Vancouver Island, Canada). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of São Paulo and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Simon Fraser University (Canada), and completed her training in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) through Florida Tech (USA).

Danielle also works as a Clinical Supervisor in ABA and Organizational Behaviour Management (OBM), providing guidance and support to clinics and professionals in Brazil, Canada, the United States, and Portugal. She is a speaker at conferences on topics such as child development, leadership, and supervision in ABA.

As a mother of a child with autism, Danielle brings not only professional expertise but also deep personal insight and empathy to her work. Her combined professional and personal experience allow her to support individuals and their families with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based strategies that promote meaningful growth, independence, and quality of life.

Mackenzie Martin, B.A., BCaBA

Mackenzie Martin is a Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst, RASP - Category B, co-owner of  RISE Behaviour Services. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Victoria and is now pursuing her Master’s of Applied Behaviour Analysis at Florida Institute of Technology. She has much experience developing evidence-based intervention programs based on Applied Behaviour Analysis for children with diverse abilities and works collaboratively with families and various professionals in the field to help individuals and their families achieve goals. Mackenzie believes personal strengths should be focused upon in order to maximize skill development.

​​Hannah Ayton, M.A.., RSW., BCBA
​
Hannah Ayton is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, RASP – Category A, and the Clinical Manager at RISE. She holds degrees in Psychology and Social Work and earned her Master of Arts in Behaviour Analysis Practice from the Florida Institute of Technology. Since joining RISE in its early days, Hannah has watched the organization grow into the compassionate, client-centred community it is today. In her role, she supports our Behaviour Interventionists and Registered Behaviour Technicians through training, supervision, and program development, including our homeschool and social skills groups. Although Hannah currently provides services in her capacity as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, she is also a Registered Social Worker (BCCSW). Her social work background shapes her trauma-informed, empathetic, and relationship-based approach, fostering meaningful connections and growth for the children, families, and teams she supports.

Amelia Rogers, M.A., BCBA

Amelia is a Behaviour Consultant at RISE. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Victoria and her Master’s in Applied Behaviour Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology. She has been working with children with autism for the past 10 years. Amelia is deeply passionate about her work, and her love, dedication, and commitment to supporting her clients and their families truly make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Registered Behaviour Technicians (RBTs)


Vanessa DeGroot, B.A., RBT

Vanessa has worked as a Behaviour Interventionist for the last several years and enjoys being a part of programs that are tailored for each client’s unique goals and needs. After completing a B.A. in Counselling Psychology, she began working in ABA programs for young adults before joining RISE. She’s since completed her RBT certification and looks forward to continuing her career in ABA.

Bobby Kenny, RBT

With over 20 years of experience working with neurodiverse children Bobby recently became a Registered
Behaviour Technician to deepen his ability to support the families he serves. He is dedicated to creating
​safe supportive learning environments where each child's strengths are celebrated and their progress is honoured.

Katy Bon, B.A., RBT

Katy received her BSc in Psychology from the University of Victoria and has been working with RISE for the last
few years. Katy has completed the RBT certification and plans to continue her education to become a behaviour
consultant. Katy is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, individualized, and fun environment to encourage
​meaningful growth for each client.
